Leiomioamele sunt tumorete cutanate dezvoltate pe seama unor fibre musculare netede din piele, termenul de eruptive desemneaza extinderea acestora pe o regiune cutanata, sau prezentand o dispozitie radiculara. Fibrele musculare din care se dezvolta lamioamele pot avea originea in muschii pilosi. Cel mai frecvent intalnite sunt leiomioamele intradermale dezvoltate plecand de la muschii erectori ai firului de par. In ceea ce priveste evolutia, dupa o initiala perioada de crestere, leziunile tind sa devina stationare, cateva putand continua sa creasca. Cand apare durerea, aceasta devine progresiva.

Prezenta unor astfel de leziuni eruptive constituie o patologie rara in cauistica dermatologica, iar abordarea terapeutica este cea chirurgicala, ajungand pana la excizia zonei afectate, urmata de grefa tegumentara, cu rezultate estetice de buna calitate.

The Leiomiomes are cutaneous tumors which are developed with in some smoth muscular fibres in the skin. The term "erupting" implies these tumors spread on a cutaneous area, sometimes following a specific radicular pattern

The muscular fibres the leiomiomes are developped from may originate from arrector pilaris muscle or cutaneous muscle, the most frequent met leiomioms are those developped inside the skin having as origin the erecting muscles of the hair.

With respect to the evolution of leiomiomes after an initial growing period, these tumors tend to become stationary. However some of them may continue to grow; once the pain is felt it becomes progressive.

The presence of such erupting lesions constitues a rare pathology in dermatologycal casuistry. The therapeuthical approache is surgery to the extend when the affected area must be excised followied by a skin graft. The esthetical results are good.
