Azi se stie ca mycosisul fungoid (MF) este cel mai important limfom cutanat cu celule T helper (CD₄₊). Aspectul polimorf al leziunilor cutanate in diverse stadii clinice constituie o provocare pentru diagnostician.

Prezentam cazul unei paciente cu MF ajunsa in stadiul tumoral dupa o evolutie de 4 ani. leziunile au fost diagnosticate succesiv de diversi medici, in diversele stadii clinico-evolutive, ca tinea corporis, tuberculoza cutanata sau eczema in placarde multiple.

Autorii prezinta evolutia si alternativele terapeutice in acest stadiu, facand o trecere in revista a mijloacelor existente la nivel mondial si a celor folosite in Romania. In cazul discutat, in urma colaborarii cu echipele de oncologi de la IOB, a fost aleasa polichimioterapia, obtinindu-se o spectaculoasa remisiune a leziunilor.

We know today that Mycosis Fungoides (MF) is the most important skin lymphoma with T helper cells (CD₄₊). The polimorphic aspect of the skin lesions in various clinical stages is always a challenge for the diagnose physician.

We introduce the case of a female patient with MF that evolved after four years up to the tumoral stage. The lesions were successively diagnosed by many physicians in the respective clinical-evolutive stages as tinea corporis, skin TB or rash in multiple plaques.

The authors describe the evolution and the therapeutical alternatives in the tumoral stage, taking into review most of the means avaiable in the world and in Romania. In this specific case, as a result of close cooperation with the cancer teams from Bucharest Oncological Institute, the choice was polichemiotherapy with a spectacular resulting remission of the lesions.
