Obiectivul lucrarii.

Conluzii.
BTS-m, precum si in cazurile unor dermatoze cu evolutie trenanta, cronica.

Focuses. HIV incidence following up in STD patients (risk group) and other dermatological diseases patients between January 1994 and January 1999.

HIV infection predominantly involves sexual active population, the most frequent transmission being the sexual intercourse (homo or heterosexual). In the last ten years, in our country, a spectacular increasement of syphilis morbidity has been observed as a result of a higher rate of prostitution, abnormal sexual behavior, faciliting conditions to HIV infection.

Methods. serological samples from 20,051 patients were performed by ELISA. Patients presented major STD (lues and gonorrhea), and minor STD (recurrent genital herpes virus infection, condillome acuminata resistant to treatment and patients with other dermatological diseases as: Kaposi's sarcoma, vascularitis,, recurrent pruritus, prolonged cutaneous mycotic infections etc.

Results. A number of 95 patients from all investigated were HIV seropozitives.

Conclusions. Beginning with january 1995 an elevation of seropozitive STD patients was observed in comparison with
1989-1999 period.

The anti HIV serological investigation is requested in all the country and all the patients with STD (major and minor) and also in recurrent or chronic dermatoses.
